Is Metascans™ free for nonprofits?
Yes — the Starter plan is completely free with no credit card required. It's designed for organizations just beginning to digitize their donation tracking.
What counts as an 'item'?
An item is any physical product that gets scanned and cataloged in the system — a box of gloves, a diagnostic device, a medication pack, etc.
Do you offer discounts for humanitarian organizations?
Yes. We offer deep discounts and in some cases free access for qualifying disaster-relief organizations, international medical missions, and small community clinics. Contact us.
Can we switch plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time. Your data and audit history are always preserved.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No long-term contracts. The Organization plan is billed monthly with no minimum commitment.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export all your data as JSON or CSV at any time before canceling. We provide a 30-day data retention window after cancellation.
